The word ‘Avo’ in Portuguese means ‘grandparents’ representing our foundation, family, and company principles.  Using the word AVO as our company name is more than just a testament to our family and specifically, our grandparents but also to the culture and principles learned from their teaching and life example. We are Miami natives with roots from Armenia and Cuba who are dedicated to our work and clients.

In turn, our clients become a part of our extended family. As we help to manage their property and other assets, AVO is honored to be trusted and to bring you into our extended family of clients. Our business relationships become our company’s foundation and lay the groundwork for a lasting relationship.

Brian Khanamirian started his first business in landscaping design in his early twenties, selling the business 8 years later. He always had an entrepreneurial spirit but also longed to serve and help people. As such, he spent three years working in law enforcement, fulfilling another childhood dream. Though, he ultimately decided that his passion was to be a small business owner again, leading him to the real estate industry.

Having lost his father at a young age, he had to grow up quickly but always remembered the lessons learned from his father and grandfather about business and life - a strong work ethic and a solution-based attitude. Brian recalls that his father would have him reconcile his allowance as a child and turn it in to him to be reviewed for mistakes. He would also work with his grandfather during school breaks to earn extra money.

Brian has been working in real estate and property management since 2017 and was part of a top producing team in Miami Beach, where he learned the foundations of the real estate industry. During that time he gained vital experience all the while maintaining his past client relationships. This earned trust motivated him to formally open AVO Asset Management.

AVO gave him the ability to properly service his existing clients and structure his business for growth. AVO’s focus is on residential management to single family homes, condos, and multifamily investments.
